Accommodations in Marin

Seems some of these rooms are actually cheaper to reserve online right now then the group rates I could get by reserving 10+ rooms. I'd suggest you book your rooms as early as possible if you plan to come. The prices I listed below have been quoted on March 17. They will only go up as October is still the high season here in the Bay Area.

 

Mill Valley Holiday Inn Express

  

This is the closest hotel to our house. There's easy access to San Franicsco by bus and a short walk to Sausalito.

King bed or 2 double beds : $141 (includes breakfast)

 

Corte Madera Inn Best Western

 

Located about 10 min. drive north of where we live. The hotel is a short walk to a very nice shopping mall.
The hotel has a pool and jacuzzi.

Superior Two Bedded Rooms: $159
Superior King: $159

 
Larkspur Marriott  

 

Located about 15 min. drive north of where we live. The hotel is a short walk from the Larkspur Ferry which offers service to downtown San Francisco.

The hotel has a pool and jacuzzi.

Group Rates: $179 for king, $199 for 2 queen beds (does not include breakfast)

 
Marin Suites Hotel  

 

 

 

 

Located about 10 min. drive north of where we live. The hotel is a good choice for families who need a less expensive alternative and more space. It's a little less expensive. I would only give this 2 stars as it's a bit dated. You'll need a car to get around as it's not near the ferry or the bus lines. Close to the freeway and a nice shopping mall.

They are remodelling their outdoor space and are in the middle of building a brand new pool and jacuzzi which will finished by October.

Rates: I bedroom: $130, 2 bedroom: $153

 
The Inn Above Tide  

Located in Tiburon above the Bay. This is the right choice If you want to pretend you are on a honeymoon too!

This is ultra deluxe with prices to match, rates start at around $300.

Orchard San Francisco  

Located in downtown San Francisco. Very close to Union Square and Chinatown.

Orchard Garden San Francisco  

Located in downtown San Francisco close to the Orchard hotel listed above. This is the more modern of the two hotels.
